I've completed my freebie sal provided by Donna http://bythebayneedleart.blogspot.tw - I decided to make my sheep fluffy by doing a looped stitch called a Velvet stitch which is then cut and then fluffed up - and I hope it will be a while before I have to do another french knot!
Now that this sal is over I will probably go back to working on my Sarah Lowell by La-d-da - hope to have pictures soon - take care and keep those needles busy!

Here is a Dimensions kit I did a while back which is finally framed -
A bit of a sad story with this one - my framer didn't listen to my explicit repeated instructions to only provide me with the frame and glass - as I know in Taiwan they only use glue and cardboard in their framing of this type of work - and I explained why I didn't want him to do this - and that I would provide the foam core and frame the piece myself - we negotiated a lower price as a result of him not providing me with a full service framing job - and low and behold as by now you can guess what happened when I went in to pick it up - yup! - he went ahead and glued it onto a piece of cardboard and put it in the frame for me - he was so proud of himself - told me "well it's not acid free but look how pretty it turned out"
What could I say? My husband's business is across the road from his - so for this reason I didn't make a fuss - but argh! Men!
I am still working on my freebie mystery sal provided by By The Bay Needleart - if you havn't already go check it out - also was working on my Alphabet Ryhme by LHN and realized that my abc song had been stitched one stitch out - don't you hate it when that happen's? - so rip rip rip - which meant I ran out of thread to re-stitch it - so will have to order more thread from the U.S.A. grrr! - which I hope won't take long cause I would love some more finishes!
Had better go look after my little one - he's not appreciating me spending time on the computer - and is throwing his toys around on the floor - take care and as always keep on stitching!

By the Bay SAL
I have joined this free stitch-along provided by Donna http://bythebayneedleart.blogspot.tw/p/sal-friends-progress.html
there is supposed to be some drizzle stitches going in those flowers - but I am having difficulty understand the instructions on how to do them! Ugh! I have finished part two and am waiting for part 3.
Another goodie out there you might want to check out is a freebie by LHN http://littlehouseneedleworks.blogspot.tw/

Fabric Heaven!
Some fabulicious stash arrived in the mail today -
- from left to right - broomstick brown - sheeps straw - abecedarian blend - parchment - v.lt.examplar - creme brulee.
I am in love with the creme brulee and abecedarian blend - delicious!
I have a La-d-da project that I started a while back but found the linen provided was not to my liking that I will be restarting using the sheeps straw and some needlepoint silks - yay! Can't wait!
Take care everybody and have fun stitching!
