Quaker diamond update

I'm going to have to put this on my frame as my Qsnap is just not big enough!  Feeling a bit lazy about it tho as already have something basted onto my frame and don't really want to take it off, guess I need to buy more rods then..

Bought two new books on Goldwork with Silk Embroidery, just browsing them for now as my youngest is 6 months and I don't really have the time, but once he's off to daycare, hopefully..

Also, my magazine showed up in the mailbox, well almost.. it was actually thrown onto my garage floor, but eh' .. close enough..

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hearts and Quakers

Here is an update on my heart, it's the 7th one I'm working on, so only one more to go!  I would have loved to have finished this by now but looking after 3 little ones dosn't leave much time for stitching, which is why I'm sticking to small projects at this time and easy projects, hard to stitch when you are tired - Hell, hard to type when youre tired - sorry, didn't catch many Zzzz's last night... where am I?  Oh yeah, picture!

Purchased some fabric and threads online for a couple of charts I have and have been waiting for them to arrive.  Like the addict I am, I have been anxiously keeping a keen ear out for the mailman's holler that we have mail, maybe today, huh?
Can't wait to sink my needle into these.

Yep! It's Quaker time!  123stitch had a Quaker sale and as usual I couldn't resist, whipped out the credit card quicker than the other, more sensible side of my brain could say "now wait a dang minute!"
What you think?  You like?
I definately like!
Now, where is that darn mailman...?

Cross Stitch Crazy

My cat, his name is Wasabi (we love japanese food).  Say hello Wasabi.
Okay, finally an update on my firebird, a finish!  Love it when that happens.

She's not as pretty as I had hoped she would be, I might make a few changes to her face, but for now a finish.
Below are some other pieces recently finished I want to share.
These ones are some hearts from Cross Stitch Crazy Magazine I'm doing for my daughters room, I'm going to group them into 2 lots of 4 and frame them, six down two more to go.  Don't you just love the colours?

This is a Dimensions Kit, when I saw it I thought it would make a nice addition to my craft room if and when that ever happens.  Gotta say, really enjoyed this one.

And last but not least, some little xmas gift tags I'm working on that came free with my Cross Stitcher magazine.

Oops!  Forgot one!  A cat having a snooze in an apple tree.  This one is by Margaret Sherry and also came from a magazine Cross Stitch Crazy.

Am expecting a couple of packages, one from Ye olde stitchery and one from 123stitch.  Can't wait to show you what I got!
Til then, keep those needles busy!
Love to hear your comments!
